Questions for the new AG

new AG nominee Mukaskey is taking a beating on many fronts, mostly due to his unwillingness to specifically explain his thoughts on executive power and torture. Lots of people have created question lists for him. He seems to think that the President can break some laws if he wants, but that Mukaskey will ensure that the President doesn't run over all of our legal protections... or something: ...the president, for example, can authorize surveillance outside the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. So, is it rule of law or not?
