Sullivanistic Islamism?

I'm starting to get concerned about Andrew Sullivan's objectivity on this Islam thing. Reading his blog today, I came across this post. The link therein takes one to this Telegraph post from the UK. It certianly paints Islamic followers as creationist, anti-evolution radicals and viciously anti-semetic. This wouldn't be nearly as troubling to me if not for my previous observations in Understanding each Other. The strange condemnation of Islam as Anti-Evolution rings ridiculously hollow, especially when one visits one of the myriad of Christian anti-evolution sites, like this one. Im not sure what Sullivan is trying to say by posting this type of thing on his blog, but its repetetive nature is making me start to question his motivation.

Thoughts?
